Located only a block from our house Waypoint Public has quickly become a neighborhood happy hour favorite.  They have an amazing craft beer selection with over 27 beers on tap and a seasonal menu highlighting an exceptional hodgepodge of cuisine designed to create a special culinary experience.

Waypoint public has a fenced in kid friendly zone packed out with books, puzzles, bean bag chairs and a big screen TV mounted to the back wall that plays children friendly movies.  In addition to this there are also two oversized picnic bench tables adjacent to the kid zone that is the perfect zone for large groups looking to enjoy a dining experience while still being able to keep an eye on your kids.

We typically come here for happy hour to hang out around the kid zone and abstain from asking for an actual table.  We usually order  a beer or two each along with a side of fries and pickles.  Kahana usually plops down in a comfy bean bag chair with a book one hand and a beer in the other to read to Duke and Coco.  Its a nice and relaxed atmosphere and the more you participate with your children the better. There’s a happy hour menu from 4pm - 6pm that should allow you to enjoy yourself for a few hours and still escape with a bill under $30 bucks.
